Drug study on prevention of nighttime hypoglycemia
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the effect and safety of a new drug, which may prevent nighttime hypoglycemia. Participants will take the active drug during one of two 4-weeks treatment periods, and placebo during the other and they will wear blinded continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) during both periods. The study also includes 6-7 study visits at Mount Sinai Hospital and 2 phone calls over 16-20 weeks and participants will have to fill in an e-dairy and upload CGM daily
